Noel Scott, PhD is Adjunct Professor of Tourism Management at Edith Cown University, Australia. His research interests include the study of tourism experiences, and destination management and marketing. He is a frequent speaker at academic and industry conferences. He has over 300 academic publications including 17 books. He has supervised 30 doctoral students to successful completion of their theses. He is on the Editorial Board of 10 journals, a member of the International Association of China Tourism Scholars and a Fellow of the Council for Australasian Tourism and Hospitality Education. |
Dr. Huthayfah Madkhali is an Assistant Professor of Tourism Management & Marketing and a national consultant for agritourism development at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Saudi Arabia since 2021. His work involves assessing the current state of agritourism, proposing solutions, developing farm tourism criteria, and providing training and consultations to rural communities. He also consults on the Jazan Tourism Development project for the Jazan Strategic Office and has previously led a team of consultants in ecotourism development for the National Centre for Wildlife. |
Dr. Samer Yaghmour is a senior academician with expertise in tourism, culture, event management, planning and policy. He serves as head for Department of Travel and Tourism Management at King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia. He holds a PhD in Tourism Management from The University of Queensland, Australia, MBA in Information Systems from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and BSc in Business Administration from King Abdulaziz University, KSA. He has been regularly providing his professional services to local government, NGOs and association with many projects and grants while promoting tourism industry for KSA across the globe. |
Dr Almuhrzi is the Dean of Oman Tourism College. Hamed started his tourism career as a tour guide. During his career, he worked in various industry and academic organisations in Oman and led various academic departments. He has also published on various tourism topics and has two internationally recognised edited books. |
Hafidh Al Riyami is an Assistant Professor at the Tourism Department, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. He holds a doctorate in Tourism Management from UQ Business School, the University of Queensland, Australia. Prior to joining academia, he gained national and international working and training experiences in the tourism and hospitality industry. He has several publications, and he is one of the co-authors of Tourism in The Arab World Book. His research interests include Sustainable Tourism Development, Tourist Behavior, Arab/Muslim Tourism, , Tourism Experience, and Risk-taking behavior. |
