Dr. Kazem Vafadari is Director of International Center for Asia Pacific Tourism (iCAPt); and Academic Director of the Kunisaki City Research Center for world agriculture heritage in Oita, Japan. He is a Professor and Vice Dean for International Affairs, College of Sustainability and Tourism at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU). He worked with United Nations University and Kanazawa University in Japan before joining APU in 2011. He is an expert on sustainable tourism, natural resource management and tourism applications of agriculture heritage landscapes. His research background also includes community building, rural revitalization and destination branding. |
Dr S M A Moin is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Marketing at Queen Mary University of London and Director of Teaching Associates at the School of Business. He is an interdisciplinary researcher and a published author in brand storytelling, strategy, leadership and creativity & innovation. He regularly reviews for several academic journals. He has earned an MBA from the University of Strathclyde and a PhD from the University of Nottingham. In addition, he has completed several executive education courses in leadership, management, creativity, and entrepreneurship from the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, and Harvard University. Before moving into academia, Moin worked in several industries, including the military (Navy), media, publishing, and financial services. As a management consultant, he has advised various companies, worked for the world’s largest international newspaper and was part of a $4 billion international subsea project named SME-4. He has also served as an LEA Governor of the London Borough of Hounslow and taught in the UK further education sector and armed forces training institutions. Before joining Queen Mary University of London in 2022, Moin worked as the Associate Head of Research and Scholarship, University Ethics Lead and Vice-Chair of the Research, Scholarship and Ethics Panel at Coventry University London. He is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. |
Dr. Svetla Stoyanova-Bozhkova is a Principal Lecturer in Tourism Strategy and Change and Deputy Head of Department of People and Organizations at Bournemouth University Business School. She holds a doctoral degree from Bournemouth University in Tourism Development in Transition Economies and a Masters degree from Birmingham University in Tourism Policy and Management. Her research interests include leadership, emotional intelligence, economic development, sustainability, destination management, customer experience management and cross-cultural issues. In addition to her academic role, Svetla is a Chartered Manager, member of the Institute of Leadership and Management (UK), and actively involved in business coaching and mentoring through CMI and Help To Grow mentoring schemes. |
Dr Syed Bahar Ali Kazmi is a senior lecturer at Aston Business School. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a winner of Excellence in Learning and Teaching Practice Award, Aston University (2018). He uses storytelling as the research method as well as a teaching and learning approach to examine and solve problems that arise in the context of corporate interaction with, or impact on, societies, people, and environment across diverse socio-political milieus. His research is widely recognized for its originality and impact and has published across a range of high impact scholarly and practitioner journals including Journal of Business Ethics, Organization, Business & Society, Organization Studies, Human Resource Management Review, European Financial Review, and CABS report. |
