UNWTO.TedQual Certification
Supporting Tourism communities through Training
Right to travel and liberty of movement are emphasized in the “Global Code of Ethics for Tourism” (GCET). UNWTO.TedQual Certification program is designed to assure the implementation of GCET in tourism education, research and training. UNWTO administrators in charge of this program will discuss how UNWTO.TedQual makes it possible to measure the effectiveness of the pedagogical systems as well as to which extent the needs of the tourism sector, the community and the students in such systems are covered. Auditors of the certification program explain how to incorporate a comprehensive set of principles designed to narrowing the gap between theory and practice in tourism and to improve the quality of the tourism education and training. The next webinar will introduce some of the institutions with UNWTO.TedQual programs and create a dialog to learn from their practices and experiences.
