Dr. Robertico Croes served as the Minister of Tourism and Economic Affairs of Aruba from 1994 to 1998, and was the Minister of Finance from 1998 to 2001. Robertico Croes is a Professor currently serving as the Associate Dean of Research and Administration at the University of Central Florida Rosen College of Hospitality Management USA. He is also the Director of the Dick Pope Sr. Institute for Tourism Studies. Dr. Croes has authored four books and has more than 100 published works. His research has been presented and applied in many countries. Professor Croes is the recipient of numerous research awards such as the 2018 Thea Sinclair Award. His fields of interest include: econometrics applications in hospitality and tourism, tourism economic impact, tourism development applied to poverty alleviation, well-being, and tourism specialization and management in small islands and developing countries. |

Marguerite Diana McIntyre-Pike OD, BSc Community Tourism Consultant/Trainer with a BSc degree in Tourism Management, Diplomas in Hotel Management, Tourism, Catering Operations, Marketing and a Certificate in Environmental Management where she studied professionally in Jamaica the UK and Germany. She is President of the International Institute for Peace through Tourism (IIPT) Caribbean, Coordinator of the IIPT International Community Tourism Network and President/Founder of the Countrystyle Community Tourism Network/Villages as Businesses and the Academy for Community Tourism (ACT). She has provided Consultant Services in community tourism to several Caribbean countries, South Africa and Jamaican communities and organizations. |
Rudi Page has extensive and accomplished cross-sectoral expertise in change management, project management and policy implementation. He has senior level experience in the selection of ministerial and NHS senior leaders including NHS Trust Boards, Strategic Health Bodies, Governing Councils, Expert Panels, Advisory Groups and External Teams. As a proven skilled facilitator, he is personally and professionally committed to inclusion that influences local leadership and management system changes that gain the trust and co-operation from frontline teams within sensitive working environments. He has an excellent track record of achievement for executive coaching and mentoring for senior leaders and frontline staff responsible for programmed implementation and transformational leadership. |
Clive Muir, PhD, an educator and social design consultant, has studied community heritage for most of his life. At age ten, he helped staff to pick shards from dirt at Old King’s House in Spanish Town. He studied geography and history and completed a BSc in Tourism at UWI Mona. In 1990, while in graduate school at Penn State, he contributed to a proposal to the US Congress to fund rural tourism amenities across the United States. He organized heritage programs and taught hospitality and tourism at a local college in the South Carolina Sea Islands. He has visited heritage sites in Canada, Europe, Asia, New Zealand, and the Caribbean, and presented a paper to develop Anansi folklore houses in Jamaica at the WTO Rose Hall conference in 2017. He has a doctorate in communication from New Mexico State University and lives in eastern Texas. |
With more than 16 years of experience managing and coordinating projects with international development organisations and the Government of Jamaica, Jody uses her strong inter personal skills for relationship management and consensus building with partners. She is able to unite diverse project teams around a common vision and goal, resulting in motivated staff. Jody, is adept at simplifying complex, technical information and analysing the component parts required to meet time- bound deliverables. She is a resilient individual, who brings energy to teams and gets the job done. In 2017, Jody was awarded an OAS Scholarship to pursue a Masters in Project Management; and in 2019, was selected to be a part of the Women in Renewable Energy (WIRE) Network, supported by the Clinton Climate Initiative. Ms Grizzle currently provides project management services to the University of the West Indies Open Campus, Business Development Unit for new and on-going revenue generation initiatives. |
