Winda Mercedes Mingkid
Winda earned her doctoral degree from Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, Japan and a Master degree from University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. She is currently working at University of Sam Ratulangi, Manado, Indonesia. She was appointed as the Vice Dean in the university from 2010 to 2018. Winda is actively engaged in various organizations in Indonesia as a leader and a committee member. She also served as the auditor of tourism village sustainability certification program and sustainable tourism destination program. Winda was a judge of Indonesia Sustainable Tourism Awards (ISTA) in 2017, 2018, and 2019. She assisted the national secretariat of Sustainable Tourism Destination of Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in 2014 – 2018.
