Inès Mestaoui has a Ph.D. in marketing, at the University of Tunis. Her research mainly concerns the tourism experience, mobile technologies, and social media. Drawing on social imaginaries, liminality, and institutional theories, her thesis work deals with travel experience currently experienced by Tunisian travelers under the influence of mobile technologies and in a transitional context, namely the post-revolutionary context.
